Dorothée becomes the first woman member of the Institute of Automobile Engineers. Her first application had been in 1920.
Thomas Charles Pullinger arrived back in London from Sydney on board the Mongolia with Mrs and Dorothee (she joined in Marseilles as they had come back from a round the world trip of 6months). This is when she met her future husband.
The Tongland venture failed, and the factory closed in 1923; production of the Galloway was transferred to the Heathhall works until the demise of Arrol-Johnson in 1928.
